R. B. (Bob) Payne and son R. W. (Bill) Payne formed Payne Plumbing and Sanitation Company.
The company began to offer heating and air conditioning services.
With the steady pace of increasing business, the company name was changed to The Payne Company in order to reflect the many services the company provided.
Payne Mechanical Services was created, becoming responsible for all service segments of the industry.
The Payne Company family and team celebrated the Grand Opening of the new office location on W Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, which serves as the Shreveport base today.
